The vaccine arrives dry and must be mixed with saline and reconstituted before it is injected. Sounds like a bunch of morons didn’t reconstitute the vaccine and just gave the saline.


I give my horses reconstituted vaccines. They arrive with a vial of saline labeled part one and the dry vaccine labeled part two. You draw the saline out of the vial labeled part one and inject it into the vial labeled part two containing the actual vaccine. Mix it then draw out appropriate dose and administer the reconstituted vaccine.

I’m not advocating for taking the vaccine. This is just how it arrives and the procedure. My husband and I have not taken the vaccine and have no plans to get it in the near future. My mother received her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday. I’m keeping very close tabs on her.
