Isn't injecting an empty syringe (air) potentially fatal?

Every nurse and medic I know always inspects a syringe before injection. Just to make certain it is in one piece and the contents look right.

Any medical folks here who can give us good insight?

No way in hell were they empty.
Depending on where they were administered, the nurse, Dr, or pharmacist would have to draw it up into a syringe since they are multi-dose vials.
I have never seen saline in a vial, though I suppose it COULD be available that way.
Kroger would not have had it in vials. It makes no sense that a grocery chain would carry that in their pharmacy.
Who the hell would be injecting saline at home?

Their explanation is bullshit.

They realized they could get in on the pharma boom days of the results of the network TV's advertising the shots 24/7.

You tell people this and they dismiss it or deny it as truth or call you a conspiracy theorist, it's UNBELIEVABLE!!

I just walk away now and wish them well with their decision.

Hahah they mixed up the government and diplomat vaccines(empty saline) with the vaccines meant for the common peasants..

One of our TLC locations made a mistake and administered empty syringes instead of the COVID-19 vaccine. All impacted customers were contacted and have now received the COVID-19 vaccine. We apologize for this oversight and the inconvenience caused for these customers.

This was immediately addressed with the TLC team and all vaccinators were retrained and reminded of our current vaccination policies. We are working closely with the Virginia Department of Health on this matter.

So I'm reading that one vaccinator thought the OTHER vaccinator prefilled the syringes with the vaccine.

FIRST OFF....shit like this doesn't happen. NOBODY profiles ANYTHING and just hands it off to the other person. Its bullshit and people would lose their LISCENSE if caught.

Second, just the FACT that they tell you it was SALINE and then change the story and claim it was just AIR should tell you AALL YOU NEED TO KNOW about what a buncha horseshit this is and furthermore I wouldn't be surprised to find out that half those vaccinated received NOTHING.

As a former medic and current diabetic...syringes are always looked at very closely to make sure the correct dosage is given.

There is a chance that some of the vaccines are being administered in one shot pre-loaded syringes. I remember reading an article about the existence of those specifically for use during the scamdemic.

Due to modern manufacturing tolerances there would likely be no air in the dose and likely not require the administrator to squirt a little out first so the instructions would be simply "insert needle into muscle and depress plunger."

So, there would be no way to tell if they were empty without very close examination with a light to detect the presence of fluid. Or to squirt a little out first.

The question then becomes, how many syringes on the assembly line did not receive liquid death and when the mistake was finally detected, why the hell did the line attendant not go back and gather up all the bad doses for disposal?

The vaccine injection goes into muscle.....or it should. I cannot imagine how you would inject air into a muscle, or who would even inspect a syringe and see it's empty, then proceed with the injection. Who did they trust to do that? I'm wondering if the media story is wrong.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT/Gray News) - Kroger says a small number of people who came to the Little Clinic at their location off of Midlothian Turnpike to get their COVID-19 vaccines ended up getting an “empty syringe” after the company previously said it was a saline shot.

In a statement, the company says it was an “honest mistake.” They went on to say, “All impacted customers were contacted and have now received the COVID-19 vaccine. We apologize for this oversight and the inconvenience caused for these customers.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Kroger said the shots were saline, but the company now said they were actually “empty syringes.”

Kroger also didn’t specify how many people were impacted by this mix-up, only saying it was a small number of people.

Why would they have just vials of saline solution?
