HCQ was always (and still is) a prophylactic and a treatment option. 100's of thousands around the world have been treated with HCQ successfully (along with Ivermectin).

Trump was never "sick" in the traditional sense. He tested positive, and since he was around 100's of people daily, he isolated for 4-5 days and took the Regeneron treatment to placate the media.
