Firstly China has no interest in invading Russia if for no other reason it would be a suicide mission.

Russia and China are working to dethrone the USA and are doing it quite handily as reluctant partners so there is that.

Russia sends a ton of oil and gas to China so they would instantly be fuelless if they started a war.

China does not border Russia in the areas of that much geographical concern like oil for instance so the gain would be marginal.

Russia would wipe china off of the map if China tried something stupid like advancing in a ground war. The Soviets / Russians annihilated the nazis in WWII and have spent the last 70 years training to crush a European ground war and their weapons are far better than the Chinese I think they could steamroll over the chinese army with thousands of tanks and paratroopers and the whole 9 yards.
