Maintaining stupidity while "easing restrictions"

So I was idly listening to a Chicago radio newscast, and they were blathering about public school restrictions. Seems someone has decreed that social effing distancing rules should now be 3-6', rather than the accepted (and 100% arbitrary, tracing back to some third grader's science fair project) 6'. School buses continue to have a 50 passenger limit, which puzzles me, because I can't visualize an arrangement with 50 kids on a bus and the 3' limit not being violated. Violated for more than a few seconds, too.

The 3-6' stipulation is doubly laughable. Suppose you find yourself 10'3¾" from another germy person. Are you supposed to narrow the distance 'til you're within the official 3-6' range?

I submit that the self-important pinheads of the world, emulating the eminent Fauci pinhead, are basking in their moment of glory. There are little people in the world who positively revel in flexing their little moran muscles and telling others how to breathe and when and where they're allowed to break wind. Sigh.
