ever had your butt stuck so bad to Vinyl by boogers and chewing gum that you needed assistance from the bus driver to get up?

Hey, any way that you could get a cheap flight or take Amtrak?

I've looked at Greyhound trips in the past and I just drove places instead.

Greyhound might be the cheapest but it isn't without risks.

No sing alongs and everybody looked like they wanted to cannibalize the other.

hmm.. maybe nut up and just fly.... this does sound kind of treacherous.

For the price of a plane ticket these days you could probably just get a used beater van. Put some love on the engine and ride solo with nothing but your thoughts, audio books, and coyoets howling in the moon light on some desert road. Fuck people and I do mean at this state of the world stay away from people.

True. I meant Amtrak is run by BLM. I would hitch hike before I ever got on another one. I found security as the people in the next suite were being hassled, and they told me nothing they could do, "they" are all unionized now and they themselves were getting laid off.

you should be able to smoke weed, at least eat it in brownies or whatever. Their will be truck stops along the way and truck stops have showers. You will need to take quick showers along the way and don't tell anyone what you are doing. The truck drivers don't want to wait for people taking showers.

bring a small traveling pillow.

i also recommend putting this on your music player and putting it on repeat. you could probably sleep through at least one of those days.

i don't see why you couldn't smoke the herb. it's doable if you're stealthily casual. the bus makes stops fairly often.

God speed.

Re: ever taken a greyhound bus across country{USA}? looking for advice
How will you get a wink of sleep? I traveled across half the continental USA. I did not sleep. Too many weirdos. Too many crazies. Too many lonely and suffering people.

If you are a Christian it will come out in conversation. The whole trip people were telling me all the terrible events of their lives. There is so much misery out there you would not believe it. People will share gutwrenching events they are experiencing or have experienced.

I did it as I thought it would be valuable time we'll spent, but I cannot recommend it. I sure would not any of my female friends or family to do it. Only a few times did I feel things were unsafe. But then I am the sort of person who intimidates most people.

If you are in the back, the rest room is disgusting and permeates for rows and rows.

It isn't wise to do it.

If you have to do it, take plenty of food as snacks and water. It's better to just have a carry on. That way if you want to get off suddenly, you can as otherwise the driver can't access the luggage unless at a station. You will pass through many small towns, so one could get off as maybe where you are headed is actual a few towns prior to the scheduled stop.

You should consider alternatives like looking for people driving across country, but that is equally if not more risky.

yeah but... god watches over his faithful - i should be good.

and if not, i did a few sins just to be sure not to end up in the same place as the mormons. besides, its warmer down there anyway :) death, oh well if that happens you gotta live every day like its the last. reincarnate as something happier hopefully. it kinda doesnt really matter if you think about it.
