This will backfire...The minority businesses could lose sales. In CA some universities are designated as "hispanic serving". After several years of this most students in these colleges are minorities and they have had to LOWER the bar in order to pass the students as they were failing. Think ELL...so the white kids have their colleges they go to. When we chose universities for our children we immediately filtered out the hispanic colleges. If I were an employer, I would NOT hire someone from a black or hispanic college because I know for a fact (inside info) that their education is inferior to the non minority schools; not racist, business. You hire the best for your money and that isn't someone from a minority serving university. Race needs to be left out; you're actually hurting minorities.
