I have long wondered why bermed houses or buildings aren't as much a thing. They offer tons of benefits for heating and cooling and are protected from many different natural disasters. Plus, you can preserve the foliage on top of the building. You can have an entire neighborhood that is still mostly green from a distance.

The government is trying to force people to save energy, why not incentivize bermed houses to lower energy usage??
