Some are saying the bottom may be around 24. I am hoping we get a dip to 18...or lower...

They can take silver to $12 nobody will sell below $30.

With the last short squeeze dealers paid $30 or more to restock. They will not sell at a loss.

I was thinking they would just claim to be out of stock on a lot of inventory...regardless of whether or not they are...

I am learning that Silver is a crazy market. Those that hold physical actually cheer when the price goes down so they can acquire more.

And that is because in the long run...it will only go up.

Some pros are saying only $1-2 lower, some are saying back to 20, some are saying it's at bottom.

Nobody knows.

My novice opinion.

People get stimulus, states re-open, job numbers up, optimism in markets, dollar goes up, bitcoin goes up, metals will drop for all of the above.

Waiting at least until summer to buy seems smart.

They want people to move out of metals and into the market.

Then BAM!

Market drops like a rock.

Therein lies the conundrum...
Wait for the price to drop but at the risk of not getting any.

I don't thin we will see premiums drop much unless everyone is doing so well in the markets, they stop even thinking about gold.

The costs of doing business are increasing. And with those costs, in many states, you pay taxes on that via the higher price due to the premium.

Volume gives you some breaks.

The spot price can trade sideways in a bottoming pattern while the MAs move higher and then take off to the upside.
You can see the early signs of stabilization in gold with the miners.
And you start to see signs of firmness grabbing hold on friday in silver miners.
Really, its quite possible that the pms bottom by the fomc on the 17th or soon after.
Metals can trade sideways until then.

Here is my free analysis on this thread.

1: These morons in charge now, see "lectricity" as their ultimate saving magic, like, oh we will just mandate electric cars. Well, war, or peacetime plans for electricity, etc, all require silver. Both sides of the pliers, must have the actual metal. Nothing will be changing that in the near future, we don't fight wars with chess matches, we on Earth grit them out with knives and cruise missiles if we got em.

2: No paper fiat system has ever survived, and this one is being punched in the gut. Admittedly, US debt to GDP could go to twice what it is, comparable to Japan but in that case, the jp morgan crew who has stacked silver for years, will switch to war, like when they went to Adolf and crushed the gold mark in 1938, however what happened, is that Adolf rebuilt their economy with his team based solely on human workers as the backing collateral. Tricky thing is, war is what makes that worker valuable in the most efficient way, a war backed paper money would also become debt backed after the war, either way, see rule one, because come hell, or high water, production of batteries and cruise missiles and shit tons of things, require silver. No precious metal is so precious to production.
