I’ve been waiting 2 years for this moment and will be very focused on what I have to accomplish. I love you all and will miss you. It’s really stressful and I’m almost having an anxiety attack, but I remembered that getting on that plane to come here was like the end of a 15 year long anxiety attack. All happens exactly as it is meant to happen. Expect me back here in this thread to bitch about getting my FBI clearance from the US, because lord knows how incompetent they are. Dealing with the Australian government is a HUGE improvement over the US gov. They are clear, concise, and straightforward here. After the whole stolen election, I feel in my heart that this is my new country, this is my home. Tears are streaming down my face cheeks as I write this.  |

Imagine having a bunch of fucking critical paperwork to do with no ability to scan or print. I can’t access any of my documents on my laptop. I don’t have a “computer” and so I can’t put things on a flash drive. Sure, I could afford an all in one printer thingy, but after this flurry of activity it won’t be used, so I’m not gonna buy one. What I’m going to have to do is fucking make or modify or download documents onto my iPad and then email the motherfuckers to the office store down the street and then go there and print or scan them. It’s been quite an adventure, pasting photos of my passport into a word document and then exporting as PDF so I can upload onto the federal police website. :anger: |
