The figures Jerome is working from are totally suspect and he should know better, having an education and all. He’s either malignant or incompetent. He’s like a nasa scientist who can’t do the math.

Gas and housing are not factored into inflation rates. The government is making bad policy without attending to the quality of the data, and even omitting the most costly expenses for working people from the calculation. The democrats are trying to impose economic slavery upon all Americans and they are selectively bailing out sections of the economy to do so.

Apparently this Jerome guy said, a couple days ago, that printing money doesn't cause inflation.

What does this mean for gold?

Yeah, we all know they use fake inflation rates so as not to give increases to social security recipients, but to blatantly say now that there is no inflation and printing money doesn't cause inflation, man, they must really think us sheep are dumber than a box of rocks.

Some explain the falling goldprice with higher interests. But that is what happens when inflation is expected and gold is supposed to be a hedge against inflation. Seems like there is no case for gold anytime then, since inflation will cause investors to demand higher interests on their money, to compensate.
