Was felt in Boise as a 4.5-5.0. I know because I lived it. Central Idaho has many earthquakes a year and they have nothing to do with Yellowstone. Everything is in play if large crustal shifts are occurring. But they aren’t but even if they were happening, you can’t stop them and you die like everyone else. |

That quake was felt in Canada. Just recently there was an earthquake near Banff, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies, attributed to "residual stresses of the tectonic plates on the west coast".
