You are 100% correct Op. It is actually DOUBLE extortion. The employee pays taxes on his or her labor. The employer also pays taxes on his or her employees labor on top of the taxes you get taxed for your labor. |

Not only that Im an employer, Before you get a penny the government takes 7.3% from me (that you never even hear of or see) Secondary leaches then also take 18% which you never see which pays for unemployment insurance and workmans comp (thats 25.3% that could of been added to your salary) Then you get your salary and the government takes 7.3% from you for social security. Then they take 25% or so for federal taxes and then they take 0-11% for state taxes depending on the state you are in. And then when you go to buy something they charge you a sales tax on your quintuple taxed money. You live a serf under the mafia which calls itself your government |

Raise wages but don't adjust tax rates for the inflation that will cause and you bring millions of people onto the tax rolls without actually benefitting them.  Did I mention that this also peels hundreds of thousands off of eligibility for government subsidies? And the idiots will cheer and thank the government until reality sinks in. |
