This thought IS haunting me ... as, it appears, I have been deeply involved in the 'movie' ... This winter has been VERY, VERY DARK, for me. I lost my mother and sister and in that same event I learned that my nephew had pedo sex with my daughter when she was just SIX YEARS OLD!!! The SEASON was not kind and dropped several inches of snow on this old lady. I STUPIDLY let my pipes freeze AND depended mostly on wood to heat my cabin. Had it not been for my Aid, that I thought was a friend until he informed me recently he was not AND was upset that I had him vote for President Trump!! (community has had his ear). The dummy, that has been my companion for the last three years, told this to the V.A. as I was trying to get him on the Caregiver program that is now accepting Vietnam era vets. I think I am going to have to write a book!!! I was fortunate to not lose power, but did get bit with an, almost, $800 bill. But that is okay and as far as my, I still consider friend, I can take care of him ... he gets 'lost' sometimes ... as our nation has. I think of the Masons and their TWO PILLERS ... balance. That is what our nation has lost ... The days of Norma Rae are past. The days of racial equality are past, not that there is still a LOT OF DAMAGE TO BE REPAIRED. The days of ABUSIVE LEO are past!! If they want RESPECT, EARN IT!! It is the pedo that is my concern. I loved my nephew, but he did not have a chance. His father was poorly educated and the beer and TV were his ONLY life. My sister, God bless her soul, got involved with 'drugs, sex and rock and roll at an early age. She was not faithful, but I now understand he was abusive to her. She had an extra-marital affair and produced a child. That same fellow, I believed, molested my nephew at a very young age. I told her at the time and did make a fuss of it ... but it went unnoticed. This proves to me it is a CYCLE. How do we deal with this as not all are bad, just lead down the wrong path by someone they trust. It has been months since I have heard from my daughter. I worry about my grandchildren, as I believe she is in a similar situation. I should have saw the signs when I was told she was into 'cutting' ... This slogan means a lot to me in these days. Not only is it the banner of Q, but I liken it to my beloved Corps, Recently I found out that one of my duty stations, MCAS El Toro was listed as a Superfund in the 90’s. I found this out because a V.A. tech ‘tipped’ me off to research if I had ever been exposed to Agent Orange. This came to me as a surprise as did the fact that I had Hep C and PTSD, both of which the V.A. was aware.
