I live 1/2 kilometer away in a nice house on the lake with views of a volcano on the lake. But I have a little place that I can call my own I am building an outdoor kitchen after I put a well in. Hopefully by August it will be a simple off grid tiny home. My original vision is for a bilingual ecological education center for permaculture, sustainability, and homesteading. So much has happened in the world that won't work for a few more years. I wanted to create a community through the school, giving people the opportunity to experience the climate and the joy and perils of loving in the jungle before deciding to build there, as well as providing a period of time to et to know the people to decide if they should be part of the community. I am on GLP, so despite my progressive libertarian outlook and that the majority of my friends consider themselves to be on the left, I do not want to live with people like the infamous meltdown woman from the Clinton loss. I can't market in in any way until I have some structures on it, so I am building a cute little bohemian style casita a and soon a pizza oven and outdoor kitchen so I can have private parties and let people camp. It's forward progress after many years of doing nothing with the land, so I am happy. |
