Not disgusting at all. They are liberating gold from the darkness where it can shine with brilliance of the sun. The most noble of metals. Gole does not rot or decay or oxidize. Gold trapped in the darkness of earth and rock does nothing for anyone. Earth is just dirt rock and clay. Holes can be filled and earth smoothed over. No harm done.
