The title is inaccurate. As the linked story states nearly 50% of Republicans are willing to leave the GOP for a Trump-led party. The real wildcard is the Independent voter. In the 31 states that gather party affiliation info, the are now more registered Independents than registered Republicans. I believe the time is right to form a 3rd national party, and if Trump is the politician who moves the third party into national prominence, that's OK by me.
