I have a client who wants his employees to get vaccinated because they have to enter customers' houses to perform their work. He's concerned that he may begin to lose business because customers may start demanding vaccinated techs coming to their house. So I suggested that I put together a Covid-19 safety presentation for all of his employees that will cut through all the disinformation and bullshit rumors that are out there. They're also going to put together an incentive program for the employees to get vaxed.

Kicker: The owner of this company is a staunch Trump supporter. When I told him I don't use American media or government sources for my data, he became very interested in what I had to say, and when I was finished talking, he told it me it was the most non-political discussion about Covid he had ever had.

I'll be working on putting that presentation together his week. I am open to any suggestions for talking points that are:

a: absolutely 100% free of any conspiracy theories
b: unequivocally factual
c: easily confirmed through reputable non-American sources
d: point toward vaccinations as being no more statistically dangerous than getting on an airplane and flying across the country, which I believe to be true, but don't necessarily have the stats to back it up

I'm going to start basic, with the definition of a virus, and what makes SARS-CoV-2 different from influenza, going into the definitions of biphasic and chimeric, and then moving on from there. I'm also going to touch on the concept of Open-Source Intelligence so they understand how I obtain my information.

I will arrange for a version of the finished presentation that has been sanitized of any references to my identity or company to be downloadable for anyone to view or peruse.

RIFF- it could go the other way too. u may want a team that is not vaxed. for 1 ,they may b more careful.some might prefer that in their homes.

it isn't a true vax. does not stop u from getting or spreading virus.i put a post out listing med issues. anyone with those should avoid the shot at least until more research is done.

u could show them the box the cheap blue masks come in whwere it says not rated for covid. long as u are at it, i think u should do at least 5-10 mins on proper mask usage.may want to touch on how a cleaning chemical needs to b in contact with a surface,such as hands, for x amount of seconds to kill the virus. there are videos where colored dye is used to show how easy u can get it on your hands and not wash it off quickly.

if the goal is to truely inform them,u should touch on the long term effects of the virus and how no research knows what will happen to the "recovered" 5 yrs post-infection or if re-infected. that would help explain to them how this is not the normal flu virus.

If by that you mean that the vaccinations are not a 100% guarantee against being infected or becoming an asymptomatic spreader, you are absolutely correct, but that is the case with any vaccine. We're talking about odds here, and the odds of that happening are lower with the vax than without. I'm also going to cover the phenomenon of antibody fade, which explains the necessity of boosters. I'm also going to cover possible vaccine side effects.

Are there some people that cannot receive the vaccination due to other medical conditions? Yes, and it would help to have that list.


I do plan to spend some time on the different types of masks, how effective they are or aren't, and how to use them properly.
