Both parents got the Moderna jab this morning, no issues so far.

I'm not giving up. I've come this far and through SO much, I'm not letting anything I can control from stopping me. I just need a kick in the pants occasionally! LOL I count on you guys to do that. Sorry, it's probably not very fair.

I really am more concerned about things in Ukraine, right now. Might want to add some different things to our preps quickly. We've all prepped for the virus and shortages, but I know we don't have things like painter plastic and enough tape to seal off a safe room. We don't have a basement.

I try to NOT be a nervous nellie. My family thinks I overreact to things like this, but I feel like I still have a bit of control if I've thought out and prepped for the possibilities. I don't panic, but I don't ignore, either. It's hard being the only prepper in the family.

I try to control what I can, too, and prepping is the best way to do that. I bought and packed/moved so many things (everything from extra clothes to vitamins to toiletries to arts & crafts) here because I didn't know what it would be like with the pandemic. Sure enough, the vitamins and certain toiletries are wiped out currently, and clothing sales are banned due to our current lockdown.

It was difficult to get what I wanted here two years ago, pre-pandemic. We have constant delays and shortages of US products. So I planned accordingly, and it feels pretty good.
