The drivers are bad here, too. It's even made the news. Drag racing, like they do in DFW. Speeding and driving like they just got their temps. Most days, the FD is going out on calls one right after the other. I feel bad for those guys.

That just sucks. Lots of sucks.

My parents had them and I've had them a couple of times. Not my favorite, but when nothing else works...

We used to have semi-flat 7up or ginger ale and crackers when we were sick. I still do that. Too many bubbles will make vomiting worse, though.

Years ago, you could by coke syrup at the drug store. Super sweet, but it did work. I like Emetrol for vomiting. I just wish they hadn't flavorized it. It was spearminty originally. It works.

word of advice to others considering the shot. you really want to stand in line with the sheep? many of the ppl geting the shot are those who have been running round without being careful. odds are a carrier or a few in the crowd.

Well..... the ones that I make.... I have this awful habit of kneeding them toooooooooooo much.

Make those ahead of time freeze them..... thaw as needed. Good saltine substitute.

And use palm oil or some other non trans fat solid oil.

So let’s hope nothing bad happens in the next few days...the 19th and 20th have been historically bad as well...sigh...

FYI I was on the phone earlier with the VA triage nurse...they had given him Lindopril upon discharge last month, but primary Dr. said he didn’t need it so he stopped it after like 2 days...nurse said give him half a pill...I did and
BP has gone down, so I am watching temp and trying to coax him to let me give him some water syringes...

i know we have a diverse group that covers the planet. if it really is a snapshot of the world,they are in trouble.

for so few ppl compared to the total world population,we have had the extremes. long haulers,family who died, sick from vaccines,recurring covid,etc. and those are off the top of my head. i think i heard someone had covid twice too a ways back.
