Ashwaghanda anyone tried does it work?
Looking for people who have tried ashwaghanda and if so, did it help, any side effects?

I am looking into taking it because I have Fibromyalgia and am fatigued constantly/

thanks

I bet Lance would know. That's not a dig against Lance by the way. He seems knowledgeable about this kind of stuff.

No, I can sleep, but its always an interupted sleep and I am constantly exhuasted.

Im taking magnesium to help with sleep.

I did read that ashwaghanda helped fatigue in cancer and ms patients

I've tried it and it made me very relaxed but weirdly ornery when it wore off. Might want to time taking it not to wear off.

Didn't make me particularly sleepy, just pleasantly calm and relaxed until it wore off.

I am drinking Teeccino Chaga mushroom with Ashwaganda herb and I have only been taking kratom about once a week rather than 2 or 3 times a day now.

I think the Chaga, Ashwaganda & Ramon nut powder all work synergistically to help reduce pain because I haven't changed anything else.

I drink 1 or 2 cups a day. I still drink coffee sometimes but the Teeccino is a great coffee replacer too with no withdrawal headaches.

Not sure. It's supposed to help with anxiety. That may be why it helps me sleep. Had my wife try it, and she said she slept great with it too. Your mileage may vary. It might make you drowsy though. It's pretty cheap to buy. I just don't use it every night because it seems to become less effective when I do.

It is an adaptogen so it may help different people in different ways.

Re: Ashwaghanda anyone tried does it work?
OP, i find that the overall effectiveness of adaptagens for energy and pain relief is linked to uninterrupted restful sleep.

if i do not sleep well the powders and herbs become less beneficial as my adrenals get out of whack.

in saying this i would encourage the pursuit of consistent sleep to see where your true energy actually is before making a serous effort to modify your energy levels.

like someone above mentioned, Chaga is very balancing and restorative.

also you may already know this, but clearing out any wifi, blue tooth or any electric devices from your sleeping area.

especially cell phones and modems.

also, limit your exposure to LED light and blue screens before going to sleep at night.

that artificial light spectrum tells your brain and endocrine system that it's high non because hat s the closest thing in nature to that 'artificial light'.

there is a huge difference between being authentically tired and strung out due to environmental imbalances.

fresh air before bed helps me sleep better.

I'm currently taking it in pill form, have missed a few days but I'm on my second bottle. It's okay, probably the effect is subtle. I took on extra work recently which is exhausting so can't tell if it had prolonged results. I'll start it again now and see if I improve in how tired I am.

No. But I don't want or need more energy.

Some of the kratom strains give you energy while relieving pain and while I like that when it happens I don't want it regularly
