Consider, if it is possible, the source of the majority of information about 'Q' and the source of the majority of 'esoteric' information.

How much of what you consider to be 'esoteric' information have you got from New Age sources, Hollywood sources or another form of consumable media (games, TV, etc). The books you've read on esoterica, if any of you still read books, whom are their authors? From what time period are they written? What are the social circles of those authors?

In the very likely case none of you are going to critically think about the answers to these questions, almost ALL of the information you have got about 'esoterica' will have come from Theosophists and/or Freemasons.

Almost all of the information you have got about 'Q' comes from the intelligence community. You can discuss the colour of the hat they are wearing but it is still the Intel community.

Now, what similarities can you identity from these two sources that could be relevant to this topic?
