I still find it amazing that an engine that spins at 10s of thousands of RPMs repeatedly runs hundreds of hours between servicing and thousands of hours between failures.

I noticed that at the time and concluded alien fuckery. That is a very rare event and to have two in the same general time have that is against odds.

Every single bolt of a commercial plane has a lifespan and is replaced on schedule. This kind of shit should not be happening unless something is wrong in the hangar.

I am sure they did but that only takes them longer an costs more money. The end product is usually solid. It is the maintenance and shortcuts and "oh it's friday night, lets get this done and the the fuck out of here".
