NGO's (Non Government Organizations) showing up in my small world

I am browsing items on an on-line auction in my town for a local nature education conservation association. It's a great place to visit, hike, learn about plants, etc. Well-loved around here. I have also donated an item for this auction.

However, I noticed that instead of the funds going directly to the association, it goes to a place called "Panorama Global" in Seattle, WA (I am in NH).

I had to enter my debit number just so I could bid on an item, but I don't want to "confirm" because of where my money would go.

"The winning bid will go to Panorama Global Fund (tax ID 26-3265577), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, which will send the donation to **** Association, Inc. (tax ID *) on behalf of the winner."

This is a small town and I find it strange that this company is somehow involved.

From what I've researched so far, they are in alliance with the usual suspects of "Philanthropy".

I hate that my small-town life has anything to do with these groups. Furthermore, why does my bid go directly to Panorama Global and not the local association I am trying to help? How much does Panorama Global take from my bid?
