But people won't because of fear.

Because the news media, and big tech, invests all their resources in creating a unified voice, repeating the lie, until it becomes truth.
And the scared people of middle-class privilege buy into it hook, line, and sinker, and they influence the rest of the terrified stepford wives to Stay home, flatten the curve, and wear a mask...
while the economy and community around them collapses.

These lockdowns are an extremely necessary starting point for the agenda. If everyone just refused to comply--NON VIOLENTLY--and just 'went back to normal life' everyone would quickly break the illusion's spell, and see the whole scamdemic is a fucking lie.
