Texas resident here & hard core conservative. What exactly could Biden have done to help Texas? Honestly, not much.

Yeah, maybe some industrial/towed generators to run some shelters or bring in diesel to help run generators at hospitals or water districts so they could maintain water pressure, but honestly, not much more.

I'm fixing my problem of not having heat by getting a generator hook up to my breaker box. That will insure I can still run my gas heaters, some appliances, etc. as long as I have fuel.

In addition, I'm buying other things that will also provide additional power sources. This will serve in either hurricanes or now freezes. I'm not going to rely on FEMA to help, nor should I.

I didn't anticipate the freeze, as most in South Texas didn't but this is going to help me with future calamities as well.
