Someone keep watch and make sure people are still able to wake up and move, because you fall asleep first in hypothermia. You lose consciousness then freeze. Keep your head and feet warm. Snuggle together like penguins to share body heat. |

I would think, exhaust induced Carbon Monoxide poisoning would be nauseating, for a while. But I don't want to discuss how to suicide. I'm just curious if someone has some knowledge on this subject. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77996452 Hmmm... Well, it could be far worse, that's what I've heard too. I guess I hope it's true. No one wants anyone to die badly, painfully. Wrong , it's horfibly painful unless it's severe temps. Dying in your house while it's 35 degrees inside over several days would be horribly painful. Elderly with little help are the ones to watch. Anonymous Coward User ID: 79360663 United States 02/17/2021 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was researching the least painful ways to commit suicide I found that drowning and breathing pure nitrogen was the best way to go. I did not read that freezing to death would be pleasant. I assume when you are exhausted already it would be easier but I would not like to experience that as having my hands and face freezing cold hurt like hell. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79432628 Norway 02/17/2021 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've never frozen to death, but serving in the Norwegian military I have experienced extreme cold and I can tell you it is the worst. Nights spent on post, laying down in the cold, without the ability to move or make noise was the most pain I have ever felt. It is difficult to describe the feeling of being extremely cold and not having any options to warm up. When I left the military I made only one promise to myself; I'm never going to be cold again. If you get cold and have the ability to move your body and wear dry thick clothing, there is no need to freeze. Protect your toes, fingers, nose and ears and walk around to heat up. Dress in layers so you can regulate temperature. When you move around and get warm, you don't want to get wet from sweating. Wind and wetness are your enemies. I dont think Hell is a warm fiery place, it is COLD for sure. |
