the chart hasn't looked like this since December 2017. Maybe another 5-10%, then crashy crashy. Based on charts.

Volume is still a little low to signal the peak but getting so close.

It's headed for 53,000 and change. Then there's a jump in the lens. By end of the month it will be trending in the mid forties.

I'm happy with my +30% profits.

It can fall to $5,000 and I'll still be above water. That would be a major buy signal, but it won't get down that far.

My guess is $200k by the end of the year, regardless what corrections occur in the interim

I'm not complaining. I mined some BTC 10 years ago and cashed it out recently. I'm just watching from the sidelines before getting back in to the game :)

I did kind of miss out on over 15 million dollars though... :P

I have lilacs, lavender and tomatoes but this year I will plant tulips too as long as I can get the bulbs at a good price.

Fortunately all those century-old silver coins I lost in a boating accident aren't worth much

Last Oct/Nov I ran across a video by BitBoy Crypto. He had the following predictions then:

50K by March 15, 2021
75K by June 10, 2021
100K by Aug 1, 2021
225K by Sept 28, 2021

He has since revised the possible height for this year to the 300Ks range. Don't know if his time table has changed, but he is ahead of the first prediction.

At the time of these predictions he was showing tech analysis that this would be a good year for bitcoin (super cycle?), but next year would be bearish and a time for the alts to rally. We'll see.

It would make sense for a couple of reasons.....lots of businesses getting into Bitcoin (one of the only cryptos, non-crypto people know). If the end game is to have the central banks have their own cryptos, you need to keep this one alfoat until you introduce something else for the masses to become accustomed to. If not, and bitcoin crashes and doesn't return like it did after 2017 you will have all the naysayers saying it was a scam, pyramid scheme, etc. Then the general population wouldn't trust a new coin that they never even heard of (i.e. Fed Coin).

However, lets say they let Bitcoin go to some unbelievable height and settle just below it. People will think it is a store of value and then start being curious about cryptos in general. Then they start introducing people to whatever coin(s) they want to sell to the masses as a store/use of value. (We are already seeing inflation, I can only imagine what it will be next year.) People will want something that gets ahead of it more than ever.

Then comes adoption, use, etc.

This is all a working theory open to constant revision, but food for thought.

I know a lot of people are getting exciting about XLM/XRP for the network/transfer capabilities. A lot of them think it will be this year that they will take off. Maybe. I think it will take more time, but we'll see. Since they service more of the infrastructure, when they start really rising and being actually used (contracts are being drawn up now), then we will be really close to the hard sell to the public.

One thing I have learned in life though, everything takes longer than you think.

So bitcoins are the " new" currency because the dollar is worthless. So if bitcoins are worth 50,000 worthless dollars...bitcoins are worthless. Its like the gold and silver pumps. Both are going up,up,up and the dollar will crash. So take my valuable metals for that crashing dollars. Nobody wonders why?

Im so nervous, the whole retirement stack is now in bitcoin.
