That is patently untrue. And any criminals using it instead of just cash or a crypto with actual private transactions is an idiot who is leaving an indelible paper trail for the authorities to follow.

Not for online. Maybe there may be some cash transactions online, but you will see criminals pay and want to be paid in things like bitcoin online.
