First off we aren't having an ice storm, but we are having near blizzard conditions in record breaking cold that hasn't been seen in over a century here.

Secondly, they ARE treating some roads and likely all interstate highways, it's just that the snow is falling fast enough to cover it and become packed and slick.

With all that said, there should not have been people out on these roads. Let the truckers get out and drive too fast and cause problems. I simply cannot imagine why anyone would need to go from Tulsa to OKC today. No one lives in one city and works in the other.
