Note: Criminals call the District Attorney "Uncle Larry." District Attorney Larry Krasner. Lawrence Samuel Krasner (Democrat) is an American lawyer serving as the 26th District Attorney of Philadelphia. Elected to the position in 2017, Krasner campaigned on a platform to reform elements of the criminal justice system, including to reduce incarceration, and took office in January 2018. This city is such a mess. No wonder everyone is trying to leave. My friend and I take the train into the city from NJ to volunteer at three theaters in Philly. I did it alone for several years before she joined me about three years ago. Live theater has been cancelled since last March, but it's scheduled to begin in September. I think I'll drive in and forget about the train. Parking is about $20.00 plus the bridge fee. The train is less than $2.00. The scariest part of taking the train to the theater on Broad Street was walking the deserted tunnel under 13th/14th Street and Broad Street. Homeless sleeping on the floors. Scary. A lot of it has to do with covid and a lot of it has to do with low or no income people seeing rich people skirting the law. I have said all along if we dont convict and jail Trump the rule of law is finished in America, it will have no legitimacy in the peoples eyes. |

It's scary. That Democrat district atttorney won't even put them in jail! In our peaceful community, a house in our cul-d-sac was for sale several years ago (in 2005). Two story, four bedroom. We found out it was being sold to someone who was about to make it into a "group home." I immediately looked online to see who qualified to live in "group homes." * criminals being released from prison * mentally ill * disabled I printed flyers for the neigborhood asking people to join me at the monthly township meeting where the township lawyer was present. We all showed up and complained. The lawyer said it was the law to allow anyone to purchase a house in any neighborhood and make it into a "group home." At that time, living in homes in our cul-d-sac were 6 children under the age of 10. We were furious! The township managers didn't care. They said it was the law. On the next visit to that house, the potential buyer arrived at the house. One of our neighbors approached her and told her that if she buys the house, he will make her life, and the occupants of the house, a living hell. She never bought the house. Instead a nice couple moved in with their two boys. They have been such nice neighbors...so quiet. lol Last Edited by nutmeg on 02/13/2021 04:29 PM |

People deep fry candy bars, marshmallows and even ice cream. Yes, it can be done if the ice cream is first dipped in batter and deep fried for a few seconds. Don't get me started on what deep fried can do for pork and beef, not on this thread. |
