We are moving towards a cashless society.

I bank with USAA and needed to pay off a credit card with cash. I stopped by a Kroger , CVS, Walgreens and a Sprouts. They didn’t have an ATM. I finally withdrew cash from a Target. Shortly after withdrawing the money, I went to a cookie store and they had a sign which said “Cashless store”
Of course COVID was the excuse .

I like in Texas btw and I was in a liberal part of town. Where I am typically at , usually have a few ATMS.

I can see cash being completely gone within 5-10 years. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was sooner. Very scary . It’s easier to track people digitally than physically.
