People even on a low wage, can set money aside for savings (and investment if they so choose) if they budget it, but instead they spend it as fast as they earn it As the saying goes: "Money's funny". In other words, mis-management can lead to disaster (your honor, exhibit A: M.C. Hammer). Studious savings over time can lead to nice nest eggs. Folks who are broke all the time tend to blame everyone but themselves, and when they see crypto investor tripling their money or more, it eats them up inside. "That should be ME!" they seethe, but alas, it didn't happen and they are on the outside looking in. Therefore, they hope that it all comes crashing down, for two purposes: 1) it would help them feel better about their own failures for someone with disposable income to lose it, since they themselves never had disposable income because they were irresponsible with their money, and 2) many of the haters of crypto pretty much hate life in general, and in their nihilistic sick attitude, they want everyone else miserable and suicidal like they are (terrible thing even to write, but it's true). If one doesn't have an immediate need or place to send that USD, they're going to get wrecked through loss of purchasing power. "If it was me, I'd at least have to sell a little bit". Broke people cant rationalize it. They cant comprehend that most cryptotards already had the expendable fiat which allowed them to accumulate said bitcoin in the first place. You cant be a saver if you're not willing to save, or have convinced yourself that you cant save. You just don't want to. Word of advice. Stop telling savers they're doing something wrong.
