In my experience, women are happiest/most self-actualized when they have something to be pissed about. The more inconsequential, the better.

Why don't you yahoos think a woman can be both? A man can be strong and weak, why can't a woman?

If you go out and eat with your man, dress up, let him be proud of the attractive and feminine woman he has. But if you have to mow the yard, muck the pigs, or clean out the chicken house, what kind of weak-kneed little biatch would try to avoid such work - work that needs to be done for the good of the family - by acting like it's beneith her? Let's face it, only a complete moron would think she doesn't need to take care of herself and her family. Sometimes that means doing tasks that are not for the prissy, like changing a tire in a rainstorm.

Unless they're butch and gay, I'd say most women like being the weaker sex.
They play helpless so men do stuff for them. Some do it out of necessity, some do it as a power trip.
Nothing is smarter than a smart women that plays dumb, and they are usually very feminine.


Women who have a true sense of self, don't care.
I'd say they are feminine, but aren't afraid to be the "man of the house", if they have to be.
That in no way diminishes their true feminine side.

Most of people would be better off if they didn't chase sex most of their lives. I know plenty of men in there 50s who tell me they could have accomplished so much more with their lives if they didn't focus on trying to get pussy when they were younger.

Recent widow too and zi feel the same way. Went through the wife's clothes and found a few comfy, casual skirts that fit and that's what I go out in because it's comfy and I am past giving a darn too. I like my skirts and blouses.

I like to be treated like a lady by a man. I like it when men hold doors or offer to get a chair, lift something heavy, etc but I don't think of myself as being very feminine.

I wouldn't say that I am happiest when feeling feminine.

I am not a girlie girl. I don't get my nails done. I have given up on makeup. My hairstyle is a ponytail to get my hair out of my face. I do try to dress nice when I go to church, otherwise it is jeans. I do like cute clothes. I don't like sexy revealing clothes.

Then, I don't rely on a man to take care if me. The only man who took care of me was my dad. I like being independent. I think too much. I focus on my thoughts and forget my looks.

I read that one first and it's still the one I remember best out of the many, many books of hers I have read.

Well it's hardly exclusively men who are focused on sex and wanting to get laid! I would rather think that was a universal human trait of youth, common to both sexes. As far as I can tell in my experience, women are even worse that way than men are.

Trying to answer to the thread’s core idea, I think following the genuine natural inclinations makes people happy. I can only assume that being feminine is what women are naturally inclined to.

There are cultural biases of one studies tribal societies, tho. One can also say that some feminine traits are merely a cultural convention, being gossipy and somewhat shallow could be said to be a cliché of feminine character, but that is a learnt behavior and not necessarily a natural inclination.

if we are satisfied with self..if that is happy, then we are self centered.

There's a lot to think about. Our culture dictates a lot of it. Religion adds another layer, and MSM yet another (tied to, but separate from culture)
