Her personality pushes his personality. His personality pushes her personality back. It is an eternal dance of pushes and pulls. It is an eternal dance and energies that are supposed to be united, not in the same physical vessel, but in a romantic relationship with one another. I have seen plenty of such relationships happen all around me over the years. Such relationships appear to be some of the happiest and most fulfilling relationships available. aw such as the Good Lord meant for such things to be. I shall forever mourn the loss. |

But if you have to mow the yard, muck the pigs, or clean out the chicken house, what kind of weak-kneed little biatch would try to avoid such work - work that needs to be done for the good of the family - by acting like it's beneith her? Let's face it, only a complete moron would think she doesn't need to take care of herself and her family. Sometimes that means doing tasks that are not for the prissy, like changing a tire in a rainstorm. |

They play helpless so men do stuff for them. Some do it out of necessity, some do it as a power trip. Nothing is smarter than a smart women that plays dumb, and they are usually very feminine. Women who have a true sense of self, don't care. I'd say they are feminine, but aren't afraid to be the "man of the house", if they have to be. That in no way diminishes their true feminine side. I don't think so anyway. |

Your accomplishments could be physical, spiritual, and/or something else entirely. It gets to be quite jaw dropping when men who are so focused on pussy-chasing make fun of you and/or worse to you for not being like them or more so than them. Maybe that's why men fear widows? They carry more masculinity than other women. And then, there is that long standing couple where the man look feminine and the woman looks masculine. I've seen those!! As a recent widow, I have been thrust into a mess. I will dress up to go out, but I prefer to be casual. I am independent and frankly don't give a darn if someone doesn't like my jeans and t-shirts. Recent widow too and zi feel the same way. I like it when men hold doors or offer to get a chair, lift something heavy, etc but I don't think of myself as being very feminine. I wouldn't say that I am happiest when feeling feminine. I am not a girlie girl. I don't get my nails done. I have given up on makeup. My hairstyle is a ponytail to get my hair out of my face. I do try to dress nice when I go to church, otherwise it is jeans. I do like cute clothes. I don't like sexy revealing clothes. Then, I don't rely on a man to take care if me. The only man who took care of me was my dad. I like being independent. I think too much. I focus on my thoughts and forget my looks. Are you saying feminine when you mean sexy? |

I recommend "The Enchanted Barn" it's truly lovely. I read that one first and it's still the one I remember best out of the many, many books of hers I have read. She wrote from say 1900 to 1925, maybe? I really like her, she cheers me up a lot. Here's her author page and bibliography at Fantastic Fiction [link to www.fantasticfiction.com (secure)] It has the list of her books and I think if you click the titles there's a synopsis? That web site is especially good if you need to reference what order books go in in a series - sometimes that information is frustratingly hard to find. |

User ID: 77360012 United States 02/11/2021 10:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I chose IDK because I thing being feminine means different things to different women. For me being feminine is being a nurturer. That's it, I can stay at home all day lounging in my husbands t-shirts without make-up or polish on my nails, help clean out the sewer and work side by side with my husband with what is typically considered masculine duties. I submit to my husband sexually, another famine trait I believe and that's it. When I'm out in public I've been told I look like I'm about to shank someone which probably isn't very feminine in most peoples eyes. So it boils down to sex and nurturing. I guess sex is a type of nurturing for men since it's a biological need unless you are Lance. AND I am very happy with my situation at home. I wouldn't give this lifestyle up for lacy panties and dresses. grass fed sardines |

I can only assume that being feminine is what women are naturally inclined to. There are cultural biases of one studies tribal societies, tho. One can also say that some feminine traits are merely a cultural convention, being gossipy and somewhat shallow could be said to be a cliché of feminine character, but that is a learnt behavior and not necessarily a natural inclination. (servitude) if we are satisfied with self..if that is happy, then we are self centered. is setting boundaries part of being happy? There's a lot to think about. Our culture dictates a lot of it. Religion adds another layer, and MSM yet another (tied to, but separate from culture) "Violence simply is not radical enough, since it generally changes only the rulers but not the rules. Otherwise, a woman on her own has to be both feminine and masculine. When white men were destroyed back in the 70's and 80's, it left most of them neutered and now feminine.
