Buy Bitcoin, and hold. Do not sell.

The only 3 that you need to trade up and down right now: DOGE, VTHO, VET. You can easily ride the volatility on these and make 100%+ gains in a matter of days.

If you're in the US, get a Binance.US account.

I can wrap my head around this one. This is a good starting point for me. I'll probably lose fifty or sixty bucks, but worth it. Thank you!

I would get in soon though since bitcoin just reached its new high, more attention going to crypto. I'm sure stimulus check money will be going in too so everything is bound to go up

Remember all the suicides in the '29 market crash?

Well, as soon as the lights go out, the grid goes down, or even just the internet access goes down, your Cryptos go to ZERO.

Crypto currencies are IMAGINARY "money". It's trading fake "money" (Federal Reserve Notes) for another form of fake money that are really no more than electrons on a screen, in an imaginary "vault".

When someone loses the millions of dollars that they THOUGHT was "money in the bank", even thought they didn't work for it, they will be plunged into deep despair when it ends up being worth exactly the amount of "work" they invested into it.

The Powers That Suck love it though, because it is PERFECT training for the Mark of the Beast, in getting people into this mindset of a computerized account representing their ability to buy and sell.

And with so many of the jobs going away forever, they will usher in a Universal Basic Income for the serfs, while all those who stacked precious metals by the millions of ounces, and own all the valuable real estate, will hold all the REAL wealth.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80025780

If the Internet and power and all electronics go off, USD is equally as useless. As is gold coins that do not feed people. As is silver coins that might stop an infection if you suck on them - other than that, equally worthless.

In your doomsday scenario, the only currency is ammunition.

If you hold, prepare to lose half your investment but keep putting in. Put in when it is high and when it is low at regular intervals. In fact, don't even look or care about the price. Put just a fixed amount in at each specific interval. By the time the USD collapses, you will be in a good position.

You again?! Do yourself a favor and look up the definition of a Ponzi scheme. Crypto is NOT a scam people! It’s technology. Get with times or get left behind. And stop giving people bad advice.

I own VET and by extension VTHOR. I’ve never heard of anyone trading VeThor but I guess it’s doable. Doge is garbage, but I agree it’s good for volatility. I’m a buy and hold kinda guy. I buy on the way up, on the way down and in between. I’ve seen huge gains over time. That’s the best way to go. I own about 15 different cryptos at the moment, so a big diverse basket is a plus. Cardano will pop a lot this year, as well as Ethereum. And MANY altcoins are seeing huge upswings right now.

I'd say go and look for a Bitcoin ETF or an Ethereum ETF. Probably $30-$40 per share and a lot less volatile. Grab both if you are so inclined.

Dollar bubble.

Bitcoins price reflection in USD might go up some. Might go down some.

..but the crypto currency space will continue to be a fiat currency black hole.

Cardano is doing things that only someone or something with extremely deep pockets can accomplish with guaranteed 2% .6 of a Cardano return every week on CRYPTO.COM over the last 3 months after buying the minimum stake in at 1,600 for $218 at .13 cents per Cardano the very week it began it’s moonshot which means that anyone that buys in under a $1.000 will look like a genius

Learning to see how markets operate requires seat time to develop the routine and Seat time builds skills.. a trader goes thru levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Over time, skills become like muscle memory and finer tools are employed to extract more and more and move closer to market capacity at any given time.

3-6 months to develop the routine and become a practitioner is typical.

It is a uni level course of commitment.

Very few commit the effort, and very few receive the benefits.

Alternatively you can be an investor, not a trader. Less time commitment. Learn a few basic principles and stay disciplined and you can be a successful investor without quitting your day job.

Only the top 1-5% of traders ever make a profit. Long term investing is less risk.

Dollar cost investing is key. That is you put in a set amount every week or month or whatever and you don't look at prices. Probably better with an ETF. With crypto it could be in half tomorrow and that could spook anyone but the general direction of crypto is up.
