Gold is literally the most overpriced "precious" metal in our world. Platinum/Silver have far more practical/varying usages than Gold. Only reason Gold is worth anything is because of the image of "successful" materialism we see on the day to day for jewelry via celebrities. Same shit as diamonds. Fiat money does not have significant intrinsic value or use value. Wikipedia Quoting: Looking Around Plus quantum computing will break the sha256 algorithm encryption soon enough. "Fiat money is a government-issued currency that isn't backed by a commodity" <--- Aka the full faith and credit of a nation... ergo ipso de facto Cryptocurrency is not fiat, but it is currency. One thing it is not in all places the world over is legal tender, another hallmark of a fiat currency. Even stable coins that are on par and pegged 1:1 are not fiat. Bit coins are not even coins, they are tokens, in fact hashes and block chain addresses. Value is in the utility Value is in the backing / security. More and more Fiat will be coming into cryptocurrency literally making it "money "as that is where the "money" supply is. Liquidity is a real game changer. Is "Fiat money" at face value a Tesla Stock wrapped in blockchain token? No it is not, but Cryptocurrency is, and can act as on par or asset backed coins and trade in seconds... Forget all about bitcoin or cryptocoins. Position yourself in and out of gold and silver securities. Buy and Hold, or look into some swing or trend trading. If you need your "money" trade them for a USD / CAD coin and get in "money" @ full value down to the eighth decimal point and it cost $0.000000000001 in network fees to move your "money" - PS: You can use crypto to buy and receive physical precious metals deliveries. I saw googles token go from $1670 - $1960 in three days in January 2021. Does that sound like Fiat money? No it does not. I think, ergo I am. "Ipso facto" means "in itself" or "by the act itself" and is used to talk about whether a thing is sufficient to reach a conclusion ... Crypto can and does function as currencies but a crypto "coin" or crypto "note" is not fiat unless a gov's Central Bank issues / mints a Cryptocurrency on behalf of a nation, then that "coin" / "crypto note" may be both a Cryptocurrency and a fiat thus making it legal tender. So the Act of a Central Bank issuing / minting a Cryptocurrency makes fiat, be it nickles and dimes, notes / bills, and now a digital dollar otherwise known as a cryptonote / coin / currency etc. Last Edited by Google_It on 02/12/2021 12:07 AM The Voice Of Reason @THEWATCHTOWERS |

Quoting: Red Hot Chilean Pepe Money does not really exist, the only thing that exists is the collective willingness and belief of most participants in the game to be submitted to put an imaginary value on paper / metal / numbers on a database / absurd numbers created by solving complex maths (a.k.a. crypto currencies). For anyone that has realized of this, the whole thing is laughable. exactly like all the currencies, money, assets everything is worth as much as people think it is, put trust in it and back it, it's all based on trust and nothing else false. read my post The price of gold is generally inversely related to the value of the United States dollar because the metal is dollar-denominated.4 All else being equal, a stronger U.S. dollar tends to keep the price of gold lower and more controlled, while a weaker U.S. dollar is likely to drive the price of gold higher through increasing demand (because more gold can be purchased when the dollar is weaker). As a result, gold is often seen as a hedge against inflation. Inflation is when prices rise, and by the same token prices rise as the value of the dollar falls. As inflation ratchets up, so too does the price of gold. the price of gold is still determined in dollars as it has to be valued with, in something, so like BITCOIN, is backed/traded in FIAT money, it's basically the same thing, leaving aside the PMs purposes that you can do with it false. in a total collapse scenario gold and silver would be valued in ounces, dollars mean nothing to something with intrinsic value, and both gold and silver have real world intrinsic value. bitcoin has none. |
