What is NOW?

Time is not real. We live life to develop our souls. Over and over. Whether Earth, elsewhere, human, alien, animal or other. Time is a dimension added to put parameters around that development. Just like the physical world does, time adds another layer.

Now is a starting point.

Its the crossroad, the intersection of future and past, nothing and everything. The event horizon, the manifestation.

I mean ... what is the past ..


it is simply you remembering ...in the NOW... of things that happened in the NOW ..yesterday or before.


what is the future?


it is simply you dreaming ...for times yet to come...paths yet to split and be offered ... but you are still dreaming of the future .. in the NOW

Eternity."now" is eternal,

If one is having memories of the past they are not in the Now.

If they are dreaming of the future, they are not in the Now.

Now is ONLY Now

Now is Thought.


Past is memory.
Where is it? It exists only in your mind as recall, someone else's recall, or your speculation of how something came to be by recalling associated memories.
Therefore, Past is Thought.

Future is projection.
Where is it? It exists only in your mind as a construction of what you think might be.
Therefore, Future is Thought.

What is Now?
It exists only in relation to what is NOT Now, namely, Past and Future. Which, as you know, are Thought.
Therefore, Now is also Thought.



Now, Past, and Future -- ie. "time", "duration" -- exist only as involuntary movements of your mind. If they were not involuntary, you would not see them as "real".

Were you to shift your Attention to the Root of these movements, the involuntary -- that is, these Conditions of mind -- would terminate. The notion of Now would vanish like a handful of sand slipping through your fingers. One moment, Now is an immutable fact that you can't help but see. The next moment, you struggle to remember what it felt like to experience Now.

You would realize what Now was and always was: the Thought-product of Conditioning. That the adoption of Thought-ideas like Past and Future naturally create their anti-thesis: Now. Freedom from one is Freedom from both, as they are not separate.


Now is neither "real" nor "illusory". The only FACT you have is that it is existent to you.

The very instant you discover the way in which Now persists in your mind, Now will cease to be.

Only then will you understand Now. Not before.

ahhh, are you a ghost? Are you an ethereal spirit tapping into those past/future times of NOW?

where are you exactly ... when you memory or when you dream ... where are you?

Are you in the past dreaming of the future .. or are you in the future dreaming of the past?

How do you really escape the now? I understand daydreaming and digging up past neurological links .. but aren't you doing all of that ... in the now?

We are always in NOW

When you quiet the ego- driven chatter of the mind, you will find yourself in the present.... it's a gift

Now is not time. It is something else.

The truth of existence must be closer

Laozi said if you can name the Tao, it is not the Tao. Perhaps the same can be said of the Now.
