Mortgage payments... no more!

Feels good doesn`t it. Can`t wait for real freedom though such as having a body which requires no food or water, can travel at will anywhere in the multi-verse and never ages.

... thanks malu, and a great big to ya too... lol, and at least you can most right-fully say that ya own your tent.... but but and but... what about the land that your tent is on?

Not to be critical or encourage debt or anything, but couldn't you get a loan against the priniciple, write off the interest, and earn 5% or so on that money while maintaining the money to pay off the note rather immediately. Granted with all the financial doom it may not be a smart time to do this.

Our CPA (I have a block with taxes) won't let us pay ahead our mortgage because we need the deductions and while the value of the dollar is going away so fast, I'm happy to spend it on materials for fence, barn, and water catchement and stuff...

... yes, yes it would... but, lol, I really don't like doing all that kinda stuff any more... and cuz for me it's just tooooo busy-ness like.

I owned a liquor/video store for like 10 years, and I was like a bus-i-ness drone, or married to the business, and just about 24/7 it was too. I did the books, paid the payroll, saw all the movies coming out so I'd know what to order, and maintained/stocked a rather large inventory of booze to boot. And boy oh boy let me tell ya, like just 5 cases of booze can cost ya some 3000 bucks too... dang, but booze is expensive to keep on hand. But anyways... I went through state and federal audits (liquor stores in general are just prime for them too... I had no idea, lol) and bankers (they just have a heavy duty thang about inventory loans on booze... which, and come this here holiday time of the year... is more than often needed too... and as in say multi cases of asti and champagne brands as opposed to usually just having so many bottles of each brand always on hand)

Soooo, when I got out of that small business sorta world, I just vowed to myself for to keep it all just as simple as possible. I short form now, and that's even a bitch for me to get myself to sit down to do. And... I really really do not want to do all of that busy-ness kinda stuff anymore... lol, I'd just rather be outside and playing I guess.... it's a lot more funner.

Well, if the property becomes worth that much, it's probably a better idea to take the money and run, I can't understand how there are any small stores left in Santa Monica.....

The Texas legislature floated at least a bill to sell back emminent domain to the owner here, We may just beat the TTC through the legislature here

only liability afaik in Texas, and that's why we're armed and insured, but there is that Indian lawsuit...
-Change in government.
lol I think most incorporated land could be foreclosed on by the current fiscial negligent government, but I've a hard time seeing that flying unless the Chinese/Indians are coming over by the millions/day and we're occupied UN or otherwise....
-Divorce.
Well that's a personal contract you've got yourself into, the closer you are to sustainability, the less sense selling a commonly held property makes

Been looking for a way to hang my tent upon the air... or do I have to rent airspace.. hmmmm ???
