It's sunny today and got into the 50s but this strong wind of doom is bearing down.

I have a little heater but couldn't afford more than 8 hours of propane heat to fuel it.

Money solves a lot of problems.

be sure to have one of those emergency foil survival sheets. the next week or two is going to be deadly cold. im in the midwest walked out to my truck thursday night got a bit of snow on it and immediately felt it go numb about as fast as ive ever felt and i lived in nodak for a winter as well. absolutely lethal up north

also check out the ECWCS level 7 primaloft pants/parka online - 30 bucks for the pants (get the suspenders too) and ~$100 for the parka - solid, military arctic cold weather gear.

It does. And pride kills a lot of people. Ask for help and seek shelter for a few days, you never know what opportunities may exist for you. I have lived with no hope before and was homeless too. You sound independent and resourceful, plus you are a GLP’r , so you’re ok in my book.

I've experienced my spit freezing before it hit the ground and also 120 in Arizona.

Those are weird temperatures not conducive to human life.

I biked 500 miles in 90 degrees once and our team insisted we should be peeing every ten miles or we were in danger so we probably drank 5 gallons a day - it was set up so there was water at each stop.

It does prevent evictions for another month for renters who turn in a CDC Eviction Declaration Form. They'll be thousands of dollars in debt but at least indoors for a few more weeks.

But a lot of people have hit the streets already.
