Pushing 70, this last summer with the riots in Portland reminded me of most large east coast cities in 1967. Especially Detroit.

BLM and anitfa are just shadows of much more radical groups of that time. Black Panthers and SDS just to name 2. Today, rioters are about looting more than social justice. They use protesting as a cover to hide crimes. The long picture is protesting is going to be shut down in this country by new laws from the democrats.

People will bring up the Civil War, little know fact; more people died in the Civil war than W1, WW2, Korea, and Vietnam combined. The country was truly torn apart. All for different reasons than today. We were fighting a morally charged war over slavery. Others will disagree and say States' Rights. But it all goes to the basic question of slavery and ownership of a person.
