Doesn't Joe have a 'state of the union' speech to be working on? I believe that happens sometime this month - if it does, it should be a real hoot! Joe can barely get through a mild press briefing with prearranged questions. With the speech given at 9:00 pm (6:00 pm west coast) somebody with his cognitive issues likely won't be able to make it for an 1-1/2 hours that most presidents go for.

I realize most people do not give it much thought and believe JB is sworn in as POTUS. But there is profound meaning in these details. I am 55 and have never seen someone sworn in before noon. I witnessed Obama flubbing his oath and having to redo it later in private. Reportedly on a Koran but I digress. What if he took the oath on the 19th? Would you still think it wasn't a big deal? Trump was the POTUS until 12 noon. JB had zero right to take that oath at 11:49am!
