Demonstrations have been done firing cannon balls straight up, they fell back down close to the cannon, sometimes reentering the barrel, Earth is not moving.
Folks still do anvil shoots, altitude of about 152 feet, given about a 6.5 second hang time, they usually land close to the launch pad, no Earth spin.

So why do we not feel this force. Everything on earth is moving at unison including the atmosphere. Notice how when a hurricane is being tracked, it travels according the winds and pressure systems and if not affected can stay in one spot for days. Maybe someone can find a good video on this.
