It doesn't matter if it's flat because it acts as if it was 3d. The fact it's hyperbolic gives it dimension.
If it was flat you wouldn't be able to dig into the ground.

That doesn’t mean that there aren’t variations like mountains and valleys. That’s why some flat earthers call earths surface an irregular plane. It's not even close to being flat. How would you suggest it is?
