Earth never rotates and cannot be a sphere, globe, round or pear. FO OP!

From a person's perspective who is small relative to a flat object in a hyperbolic plane, the 3d objects and it's environment would appear to be a sphere. It would look flat from different perspectives but continue to have 3d properties as you look at it from different angles. Problem solved.
