The furthest apart that we can place two observatories would be 7,917.5 miles.

Not sure how good you were at trigonometry but we cant physically or accurately measure ANYTHING further than 300,000 miles away from our supposedly sphere shaped earth.

Knowing this, they try to confuse you with "parsecs" which are just over 3 light-years each.

That's a hell of a lot more than 300,000 miles for sure.
