Quoting: Asymptote We should be exporting tofu, soy sauces and other soy products. The bi-products can then be used as animal food and/or composted back into the soil as compost/organic matter/fertilizers. properly marketed and produced to conform to asian tastes we could put Americans to work and still profit significantly from the asian markets. The US has the capability (especially if Brazil and a couple other countries cooperate) to maintain a first world status, eliminate food insecurity here and build a world class economy but the focus must always be on America first and not just profit.. that's the interesting thing - somehow america is for sale. iowa made it illegal for foreign nationals to own farmland, yet somehow chinese own farmland in states like oklahoma or arkansas. how in the hell is that happening. these politicians sold everyone out Very easily done. A Chinese company or national gets a US national to form a corporation and then transfer the land to the corporation. The corporation is then sold to another US corporation that is a subsidiary of a Chinese company. The subsidiary then transfers the ownership to the Chinese corporation, . |

People from CA, WA, OR, and other western states come here to buy up farm land. They then use that farm land as a lease for companies owned by or invested into by china. This state is allowing this because it's under the ownership of us citizens but partnered with big business thru the state dept. Think of companies like smithfield, tyson, ADM and you'll understand how they get away with it. The food/crops are grown here, processed here, then sent somewhere else. So, that new neighbor is actually feeding the enemy by using US land and resources. But, the ppl don't seem to care..... |

Not sure what we could do about it, RINO state legislators would be the biggest supporters of such deals and Dems wouldn't care. .
