By transmitting the Article of impeachment to the US Senate on Monday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the US House of Representatives acknowledge that Donald J Trump remains the President of the United States of America, since only Current Presidents can be impeached.

Juan O'Savin is an arrogant pos. I don't know who he really is or what he represents but I'm 100% sure he's not here to help patriots who love this country.

As usual, he apparently shoots his mouth off without doing his homework.

Fact #1 Impeachment isn't just something that happens to Presidents. Therefore, you have to consider all federal Impeachments to understand precedent.

#2 There is clear precedent for Impeaching and trying someone out of office. It happened in 1876 to Secretary of War William Belknap.

Belknap was another total pos. As Secretary of War he was responsible for removing Army troops from the Black Hills after gold was discovered in 1875. This led to breaking the treaty with the Sioux, the Lakota Sioux uprising and the slaughter at Little Big Horn. Probably 500 or more US Army soldiers died as a result of his actions.

He was also involved in selling "trade licenses" in frontier posts. He and his wife got huge kickbacks and allowed the traders to establish a monopoly at each post. This screwed the common soldier because traders were able to raise prices.

By the time they figured this out and started coming after him, Belknap asked President Grant to allow him to resign. But it didn't work. They Impeached his sorry ass anyway. Unfortunately, they couldn't get enough votes to convict him.

I'm not saying Trump's Impeachment is right. I'm just saying there is precedent for it and Juan O' Savin is totally full of shit.
