This wont answer all of OPs questions...but it might help steer you in the right direction...

When we take the book "in context", John is a first century man being shown visions of the future. He cannot use words like helicopter because helicopters don't exist in his time...the word "HELICOPTER" does not even exist! But John does a good job of describing one that he refers to as a "locust"...and the profile of an attack helicopter DOES look alot like a locust (and the beating of its wings sounded like a thousand chariots racing into battle).

John also describes a "lion"...but the description he uses sounds alot like a main battle tank. So what we have is a first century man trying his best to write down the visions he's been shown, without having the words.

• What is the exact meaning of ‘The Temple of God’ in our time?

All other helpful interpretations are welcome, lets get this understanding updated, shared and applied to our lives in real time. Lastly, good Karma is always welcomed and appreciated, the enemy has no problem sharing it, and neither should we.

Revelation
