It makes you unfit for human company, so you seek the wilderness. I always thought people had it backwards when they thought of humans as "only human", as if it were an excuse for doing wrong, being stupid and careless, etc. It is because we are human that we have reason and free will, and the ability to know what's right and do it. Sorry but I feel this whole thread was a bad idea. The term extremist is in the mainstream media now. It is being used to silence opinion counter to the narrative. I am not the first to recognize this. I think it is an important topic to find out what my personal views were. When I examined them, as others have, I realized I am an Extremist in the eyes of the mainstream media because of them. Secondarily, I thought it would be a good exercise to encourage others to look inward at their values and see if they could identify them. Lastly, I thought it might be a useful (Failed) exercise to get folks to discuss them. This is certainly a fear based group which is interesting, perhaps warped by too many conspiracies, I have no way of knowing. The war we are talking about is a war of minds. It has been going on for decades, as long as I have been alive. I 'fight' to help liberate minds. I am sometimes successful, sometimes not. The mind is what allows you to free your soul and I guess at the end of the day that is what I most desire, for people to free their souls from the darkness that has descended on our nation.
