Is something feeding off of all of this? Stop the fake optimism. Cell-mates in jail do that. The reality is that no matter where you look there's death, cruelty, destruction of the innocent, disease, poverty...need I go on? And don't preach to me. A "loving" god wouldn't allow his "children" to suffer like this no matter how stupid they are. He/she/it would find a way to end this horror. And no, the supposed willing sacrifice of what i believe to be a fictional character, Jesus, doesn't cut it. Even if all of that happened, we still live in this shithole. What's tipped me over? At least 2 stories on GLP today about toddlers being murdered by adults. Doesn't matter the race. It happens everywhere. And those are a drop in the bucket compared to the sadness factory that is this world. Shitty comments will be deleted.

Is something feeding off of all of this? The nixmary brown case did for me. I have a great life but yes knowing this goes on makes me hope it comes to an end soon. I cry for these kids. The ones that dye are lucky. How mamtbare being abused right now as we have these great lives.

I don't believe humanity has gotten any better. And what I mean when I suggest that something is feeding off of the world's horrors is that all the pain and misery might be fuel for unseen entities that keep it all going. I don't think it's starving at all. There's more than enough to sustain it. It doesn't have to be murders, horrific wars, etc. It can be something like someone being evicted from their home, or having their only means of transportation to work totaled, or that a parent is sick and dying a painful death...or any infinite number of other things that can sustain these entities. Again, i don't know that's really what's going on. I'm just suggesting it might be.
